What is the deadline to apply?

What will the schedule look like?
Lectures will be from 9AM to 12PM (the 1st course) and from 1PM to 4PM (the 2nd course).
How can I apply to Bratislava Summer School 2024?
You need to fill out an application form in the section „How to apply“. After successfully submitting an application, you will receive 2 e-mails. First one will be an automatic reply that we received your application. In the 2nd e-mail we will confirm whether you have been selected to participate in the BSS 2024 or not. We will review applications and confirm participation on an ongoing basis.
Will my university recognize credits from courses taken during BSS 2024?
You will receive a certificate proving that you successfully completed the course, as well as ToR, but you need to consult the recognition of credits with your university beforehand. It is required to carefully read the specific course syllabus, especially the prerequisites for attending. You can access the course syllabus by clicking on the specific course.
Until when do I need to pay the tuition fee?
The due date to pay the tuition fee is 14 days from the moment we confirm that you have been accepted to participate in the BSS 2024. The payment is only possible by a bank transfer and you will receive payment details in an e-mail, together with the confirmation of your acceptance. Accepted participants who make the payment first will be given priority in the course, so we advise you to transfer the fees as soon as possible after receiving the acceptance email.
What will happen if you accept me to BSS 2024, but I do not pay the tuition fee in time?
You will lose your spot in the program.
Can I cancel my application and get a refund?
In case you are accepted to BSS 2024, you pay the tuition fee, but later on need to cancel your participation, you can do that free of charge until May 13, 2024. In this case, we will refund you the full amount of tuition fee that you paid. If you cancel after May 13, 2024, 50% cancellation fee applies, therefor we will refund you only 50% of the amunt you paid. What will happen if the BSS 2024 is cancelled by an organizer?
We reserve the right to cancel a course track if we fail to recruit the minimum number of enrolments. Any potential course cancellations will be announced to registered students as soon as possible by an email. In case of cancellation by an organizer, applicants will receive full refund of the paid fee. Required minimum enrolment per course track is 15 students. The maximum enrolment per track is limited to 30 students.
Can I get a scholarship?
We do not offer any scholarship for BSS 2024.
